The Hampton Children’s Playhouse is one of Melbourne’s best community facilities for young families.  It runs as a parent co-operative with support of the Bayside council, and is a place for  parents and pre-school children to play and learn together in a safe environment.

History

The Playhouse was started in 1978 by a group of local mothers. Members can visit any day of the week and bookings are not needed.  The Playhouse  provides a welcoming, relaxed, caring environment created by members, for members.
