Welcome to Hampton Children's Playhouse
As a carer for one of our valued members, here’s what you need to know to ensure a safe and smooth visit:
Access and Security:
Code for Entry: The playhouse has a code-based entry system. Please ensure you receive the current code from the member you’re representing.
Alarm System: If you’re the first to arrive or the last to leave, please use the code to turn the alarm on/off, located above the fireplace near the trains (the same code as used for the door).
Sign-In/Out:
Mandatory for All: Please sign in and out on the sheet in the kitchen area. This is crucial for our insurance and council requirements.
Safety First:
Supervision: Always supervise the children you’re caring for.
First Aid: A kit is available in the kitchen. In an emergency, a defibrillator is next door at the Hampton Community Centre.
Emergency Procedures: Familiarise yourself with our evacuation plan, fire extinguishers, and assembly point in the car park.
Clean and Tidy:
Before Leaving: Please tidy up and pack away toys. Our goal is to leave the Playhouse as welcoming as we found it.
Food Policy:
No Nuts Zone: For allergy safety, no nuts are allowed.
Eating Areas: Please use designated eating areas and avoid carpeted rooms for snacks.
Supervision While Eating: Ensure children are seated and supervised.
Respectful Play:
Inclusive Environment: We strive for a caring and inclusive environment. Interact kindly with other carers and children.
Waste Management:
Nappies: Take home or use outside bins.
General Waste: Help us keep costs low by minimising waste and using bins provided.
Join in the Fun:
We encourage you to interact, make friends, and enjoy the community spirit of the Playhouse!
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, clean, and friendly environment for everyone!
